|
To be considered for 2008 selection, the film has to be completed no earlier than Oct 2007.
The Pusan International Film Festival accepts in the categories of features films, experimental films, documentaries, short films and animation. For the festival screening, 35mm, 16mm, Digital Beta NTSC, Betacam NTSC, HD (only 24p) and Digital Video (either PAL or NTSC) are acceptable. The following formats are not acceptable in any case; Betacam PAL, Digital Beta PAL, DVC PRO, DVD, and HD (non 24p).
The festival program gives priority to world or international premiere screenings and 35mm formats.
All films and videos must be subtitled in English.

Feature length films must be postmarked by July 31st and short films must be postmarked by June 30th.
There is no entry fee. All films must be submitted in DVD or VHS (PAL or NTSC) format for the selection. All non-English language films must be subtitled in English.
Please send a copy of the film in DVD or VHS. All the material will not be returned.Please see '2008 Entry and Regulation' to fill out the form.

| Announcement for selected films

| The official announcement for the selection will be made in late August. Those who are selected for the screening for PIFF 2008 will be notified by e-mail or fax prior to the announcement. If your film is selected, the official entry form, invitation for the film, and regulation will be sent to you. |
